The verification layer for agentic commerce

Sell to the agents everyone else blocks.

Agent Gateway recognizes incoming AI shoppers, checks their signed spending mandate, and lets the authorized ones complete checkout. Agent traffic becomes revenue, not a blocked request.

Detect Verify Settle

Bot detection turns buyers away.
Agent Gateway verifies them, then lets the real spend through.

AI agents are starting to shop and pay on behalf of real customers. Block them and you lose the sale. Wave everyone through and you lose control of what gets charged. Agent Gateway sits at checkout and answers one question with cryptographic proof: is this agent authorized to spend this, here, now?

01 — LIVE

Watch it verify, against the live gateway.

Every line below is a real call to verify.mandategate.com. A valid agent passes. Tamper with the signature, the mandate binding, the issuer, or the amount, and the same gateway turns it away with a specific reason code.

02 — HOW IT VERIFIES

Three layers. One decision: allow, review, or deny.

Grounded in open standards, not a proprietary black box. Every check emits a reason code, and every decision is written to a tamper-evident audit chain.

03 — FOR MERCHANTS

Install at checkout. Start in monitor mode. Sleep at night.

Drop the plugin into WooCommerce. Human checkout is never touched. Only requests carrying agent signatures enter verification.

01

Install the plugin

Point it at your gateway key. Detection fires only on signed agent traffic. Real customers pass through untouched, with zero regression.

02

Roll out by mode

Start in monitor: log everything, deny nothing. Earn trust in the signal, then move up. The toggle below cycles as you watch.

03

Settle with proof

Authorized agents check out. Every decision carries a reason code and a receipt in the audit chain, so a charge is never a mystery.

FAQ

Questions merchants ask first.

What is Agent Gateway?

Agent Gateway is a merchant-side verification layer for agentic commerce. When an AI shopping agent reaches checkout, the gateway recognizes it, checks its cryptographically signed AP2 spending mandate against the real cart, and decides whether to allow, review or deny the purchase. Authorized agents complete checkout; everything else is turned away with a specific reason code.

How is it different from bot detection?

Bot detection blocks automated traffic, which means it turns away paying AI agents and loses the sale. Agent Gateway does the opposite: it verifies the agent's identity and spending authority, then lets the authorized spend through. Agent traffic becomes revenue instead of a blocked request.

Which standards and protocols does it support?

Open standards, with no proprietary lock-in: AP2 (Agent Payments Protocol) for spending mandates, ACP (Agentic Commerce) for allowances, and Web Bot Auth with RFC 9421 HTTP Message Signatures for agent identity.

Does it affect human checkout?

No. Verification fires only on requests that carry agent signatures. Human shoppers pass through completely untouched, with zero regression. You can also start in monitor mode, which logs decisions without denying anything.

How do I add it to my store?

Install the WooCommerce plugin and point it at your gateway key. Roll out gradually: start in monitor mode, then move to standard and strict as you trust the signal. Every decision carries a reason code and a receipt in a tamper-evident audit chain.

What does it cost?

Agent Gateway is in early access. The first merchants run a free pilot with full verification in exchange for feedback. At general availability, pricing is usage-based: a monthly base plus a small fee per verification, finalized together with pilot merchants. No card is required to start, and early-access stores keep pilot terms.
